Upon All the Living and the Dead is a musical I am currently writing that uses identity, loneliness, and loss to explore meaning. The musical is semi autobiographical and follows three diffrent interwoven storylines. The show veers from concrete to abstract, and from the profound to the mundane, drawing on themes in science, philosophy and theology. The audience plays a key roll in the show through unscripted interactions with the cast and story. The music draws inspiration from a variety of genres, including dream pop and folk, being rich and detailed while still being relaxed and informal.

The first scene in Upon All the Living and the Dead was written for BerkleeNYC's The Launch showcase in September 2022.

On May 12th, 2023 I undertook a staged reading of the then-current in progress draft. This staged reading included an informal discussion afterwards to gauge the audiences reactions and gather feedback.

I am continuing to write the show with plans to produce a workshop production once the second draft is finished.
